MOSAICS

Today I read a book called, “The Color Collector” by Nicolas Solis.

It is about a girl named Violet. It took place outside. One day, she was walking home and a wrapper came down and fell onto her shoe. The next day when she was walking home, a boy came up to her and asked, “Why do you pick up all that trash and candy wrappers? And what do you do with all of them?” So she brought him to her house. Inside her room was magical! She made a mosaic. A mosaic is a piece of art made by tiles, paper, and sometimes even trash. I have seen them in Rio de Janeiro, Santiago, and Mexico City. They are very cool to look at.
