SUGARCANE IN QUEENSLAND

On our Australian road trip, we drove past thousands miles of sugarcane! We started to wonder about it. 🤔

In 5th grade, we learn how to write a research paper on a certain topic, so sugarcane is what my mom asked me to research. I actually learned a lot of really interesting facts:

  • More than 30 million tons of sugarcane is produced in Australia each year, and 95% of it is grown in Queensland.

  • The growth stretches from Grafton, NSW to Mossman, QLD, which is almost equivalent to the length of California.

  • It covers almost 1 million acres.

As you can see, I have already mastered the research part, but I still need to work on the writing part. That is why I am going to be researching AND writing a paper on Buddhism and Shintoism during our time in Japan.

終わり!
