BUNDABERG

In Australia, there is a drink brand called Bundaberg and it is absolutely the best drink in the whole wide world!!! These drinks are DELICIOUS. Every single flavor is equally mouth-watering and delectable. We discovered Bundabergs early on in our adventures around Australia, as they are in every restaurant and cafe, and immediately we loved them. We tried many of their different flavors including traditional lemonade, ginger beer, mango, apple cider, guava, blood orange, sparkling grapefruit, and lemon, lime, and bitters. They still have many more flavors than what I just listed!

When we learned that we would be driving through the town of Bundaberg, we wondered if there was a factory there. Turns out there is! And the roofline is shaped like a barrel!

We went into the factory store, where the process of making the drinks was explained to us:

• The first step is adding the real fruit flavor to water and sugar.

• Then the mixture is mixed, steamed, and carbonized for three days.

• The last steps are where they are bottled, packaged and shipped — all over Australia and the world!

After we learned about the process, we made our own six packs, filled with some new flavors and some of our favorites.
