First I read a book about Gandhi.

Here are three things I learned about him:

1. He started peaceful protests like the Salt March.

2. He travelled to South Africa and bought a first class ticket for the train but he got kicked out of a car because he was Indian.

3. In jail, he didn’t eat because if he died in that jail it would be the jail’s fault.

Then I visited Raj Ghat, the place where Gandhi was cremated. Let me tell you three things about it:

1. They put his ashes in a river they believe is holy.

2. There is an eternal flame burning to always remember what a good person he was.

3. He wanted things to be simple and he got that here. This place is surrounded by green spaces.
