Second day in DelHi

On our second day in Delhi, we met up with Raj again. I am glad that we were with him for two days, not some really annoying dude or dudette. He was one of the best guides that we have had on this trip. We went to many places that day, including:

Tughlaqabad Fort, a whole city built inside huge stone walls in the 14th century.

Lotus Temple, the entire design of which is based on the number nine. Ironically, there are only eight of these temples in the world.

Gurudwara Bangle Sahib, a Sikh Temple where they feed more than 75,000 each day – any age, any gender, any religion, any class, because they believe in service to the community and believe that the food is a direct blessing from the gods. It was really fun to see and to be a part of. We got to hand roll the roti! Visiting this temple was by far my favorite activity.
