NEAR-DEATH EXPERIENCE

My life flashed before my eyes.

It was my mom, Sadie, and me. We just wanted to read a plaque. We were standing below the old branches of a red gum tree. Then all of a sudden, I heard a squawk, a shriek (from Sadie) and then my mom gave me a protective bear hug.

What the heck was going on?

And then, I saw it. It was white, yellow and SO ugly! A cockatoo.

THAT was what had almost killed us?

So, basically that is what happened. My mom, Sadie and I had a near-death experience. Because of a BIRD.
