PART 1: KIMONOS

A few days ago in Kyoto, me and my family went to a tea ceremony. We had to wear kimonos to dress properly. Let me tell you about it.

We got special socks and undershirts. Then we chose our kimonos from the colors going from pink, to yellow, to green. They had so many options. I wanted to wear them all. Finally, we chose. I chose yellow flowers.

Then they put a million ropes around me. It was so tight!!!

Then they did my hair and I got to choose a big flower clip. I chose a pink and blue one. It was very pretty.

Finally, they put the thick obi belt on me.

I chose a purse and…DONE! We were ready for the tea ceremony.

I loved mine.

THE END!!!

P.S. Part two is “Tea Ceremony.” My mom is writing that.
