TOWER OF REVENGE

Today, I went on a walking tour [of the Retiro and Recoleta neighborhoods of Buenos Aires]. Our guide’s name was Simon. He took us to a church. At first, we couldn’t see the church because a big, tall building was blocking it. Now he was telling the story.

There were two people who lived right across from each other who were in love. They lived in two palaces. They loved each other so much. But the mother didn’t like the girlfriend so she made them break up.

The mother, out her window, could see her favorite church. The ex-girlfriend knew that the mom loved it so much. So the ex-girlfriend got her revenge and built a big, tall building right in front of the church. Even better, to get to the church, you have to read the ex-girlfriend’s name because it is the name of the street!

I really liked the revenge because it was sort of funny. But also, she didn’t break the law in any way.
