BOOK CLUB
Unfortunately, our time in Australia has ended, but we are ready to trade in some “g’days” for some “konnichiwas.” We are now in Japan, which means new books! But that does not mean that we did not enjoy the Australian books. In fact, we cruised through the first three Australia books so quickly that we added a fourth: “All Four Quarters of The Moon,” a story about sisters who move to Australia. The new book was great, although my personal favorite was definitely “Into That Forest.”
We have four new books for Japan/Asia:
Sadie and I were a bit ahead, so we started reading “The Last Cherry Blossom” before we arrived in Japan. So far, it is amazing! It is about the bombings in Hiroshima, and although I am only on Chapter 5, I can promise you that it is amazing. I hope that everyone has a chance to read them!
